This is the Privacy Statement of Mijn2ehuis.nl, Mijn2ehuis.nl is a trade name of Amstel Housing.

Mijn2ehuis.nl specializes in guiding the purchase of a (2nd) home abroad.

This Privacy Statement applies to all persons who have contact with Mijn2ehuis.nl, with the exception of its employees. In concrete terms, this means that this Privacy Statement applies to:

  • Customers, potential customers, clients, contractors and other relations of Mijn2ehuis.nl;

1. Glossary

‍Data subject: the person to whom the Personal Data being processed relates. In other words: the person whose personal information is being processed.

Controller: the person who processes data of Data Subjects for a specific purpose. In this Privacy Statement this is Mijn2ehuis.nl.

Third Party(s): (legal) persons who are not a Data Subject or part of Mijn2ehuis.nl, such as: (legal) persons with whom Mijn2ehuis.nl shares Personal Data on the basis of an agreement. These Third Parties may be processors or co-Controllers.

Mijn2ehuis.nl remains responsible for the Processing of your Personal Data. Mijn2ehuis.nl concludes processing agreements with Third Parties who perform work on behalf of Mijn2ehuis.nl, to ensure that your Personal Data is properly secured.

Mijn2ehuis.nl may share your Personal Data with a Third Party, such as with a potential buyer or seller, due to a merger, acquisition or sale of (part of) its company. Of course we will inform you about this by e-mail and/or a clearly visible notice on our website and inform you about your rights in this situation. ‍

6. Sharing of Personal Data outside the European Economic Area

8. Data Breaches

If we are confronted with a data leak, we will investigate in accordance with our Data Leaks Protocol whether personal data has been lost or whether unlawful processing cannot be ruled out. If this investigation shows that personal data of a sensitive nature has been leaked or that for another reason there is a (significant chance of) adverse consequences for the protection of the processed personal data, we will inform the Dutch Data Protection Authority about the data leak.

9. Data Retention Periods

Mijn2ehuis.nl never stores Personal Data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the Processing. Mijn2ehuis.nl retains your Personal Data for as long as we deem necessary to provide services, enable you to use the website, comply with applicable law, resolve disputes with parties and otherwise as necessary to to enable us to conduct our business activities. If we no longer need your Personal Data in any way, we will no longer store your Personal Data. We will delete, destroy or anonymise your Personal Data at this stage, unless a legal retention period is laid down in legislation and regulations.

10. Your Rights

If your Personal Data is processed, you have a number of rights, which are set out below. You can exercise these rights by submitting your request in writing and addressing it to Mijn2ehuis.nl (contact details of Mijn2ehuis.nl are at the bottom of this Privacy Statement) or by sending an e-mail to our Data Protection Officer Laura van Wijnen at laura@amstelhousing.nl . Mijn2ehuis.nl checks your identity before your request can be fulfilled.

Mijn2ehuis.nl will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within one month.

1. Inspection of Personal Data
You can request us at any time to indicate which (categories of) Personal Data Mijn2ehuis.nl processes from you, for what purposes, from which source the Personal Data comes and what retention periods are used.
2. Changing Personal Data
‍You can contact us at any time to supplement or correct your Personal Data.
